What’s For Breakfast?
As a proponent of lower-carb eating, I have frequently been asked, “What are some options other than eggs for breakfast?” I think if you are tired of eggs for breakfast and you want low carb options, you need to think a little outside of the box (so to speak). I like to eat a wide variety of things for breakfast, similar to choices I make for any other meal. I frequently eat left-over meat from the previous supper. I also like to have cottage cheese for a quick breakfast. Cold deli meat and cheese or string cheese are quick and easy to grab on the go. I also recommend you explore all the different ways to enjoy eggs such as in an omelet or quiche, or scrambled, fried, hard-boiled, or poached. Eggs are packed with nutrients and give you excellent nutritional value for the money. I like to have the traditional breakfast meats of bacon, ham, and sausage on occasion as well.
